For those who haven’t heard, The Rejection Hotline and our 200+ Humor Hotlines have unfortunately been shut down. It was a great run – 10+ years, 450 Million phone calls, and a relatively successful business (summarized well in this AJC article from back when things were still going great), but some things changed in the industry, our revenue dried up, and we made the difficult decision to sell off the phone numbers and shut down the company in 2013.
I have just launched a new company (www.PredictionLog.com) but I am still hoping to get our Humor Hotlines back up on new phone lines at some point (though it’s not as easy/cheap as you might think to handle millions of phone calls – sometimes as many as 1000+ concurrently). In the meantime, I will try to go ahead and make some of the content available soon.
Thanks for all the support over the years!
